DATE: Art Deco, c.1930

An incredibly stylish Art Deco Target Ring, set with a two halo clusters of gemstones - blue sapphire and white diamond - around a central old cut diamond, itself weighing a little over half a carat. The diamonds are bright, displaying excellent flash and sparkle, while the sapphires have a great vivid blue colour. 

The ring is modelled in platinum throughout, with diamond-set shoulder accents and a finely pierced gallery allowing light to flood in behind the stones. An original target ring of this era - and in such good condition - is a rare and beautiful thing indeed.
